Mackay Airport has officially launched a new website to give people easy access to airport information.
Mackay Airport General Manager, Rob Porter, said the website was designed to be user friendly and intuitive as well as informative.
"People wanting to access our site’s most popular pages, the flight information updates and online car park booking, will find direct links to these sections front and centre on the home page," Mr Porter said,
"A new search function helps people find the flight they are looking for and there’s a more user friendly system to booking your Mackay Airport Parking."
"Prior to launching the new site we conducted focus groups to "road test" it. It was great to see people found it simple and easy to use."
"We’re also proud that our website showcases the Mackay Region to potential visitors, with links to the incredible range of tourist attractions featured in 101 Things to Do in the Mackay Region".
Mr Porter said Mackay Airport’s website is a useful source of information for people undertaking work at the airport.
"There are a range of regulations and requirements that apply when working in the aviation environment, where security and safety are paramount. The Mackay Airport website is a useful starting point for companies planning to work here."
