Eligibility Criteria:

Registered not-for-profit and incorporated organisation having only charitable purposes

Be endorsed as a deductible gift recipient and able to provide tax invoices for donations

Operate within the Mackay Regional Council local government area
-
Hold appropriate insurances for the organisation’s operation

Demonstrate sound health and safety practices and standards

Will use the Donation to help fund a specific project, event or equipment purchase
Important to note:
Mackay Airport will not support any activities or entities that:

Solicit financial support for individuals, businesses, or organisations for political candidates, political issues, causes, and/or political campaigns.

Market or promote products/services in a misleading or deceitful manner.

Exploit people through the payment of below award wages or poor working conditions.

Discriminate by way of race, religion, or sex in employment, marketing, or advertising.

Contribute to the inhibition of human rights generally.

Companies, business and groups that are intended to generate a profit are not eligible to be nominated. Nominations for provincial, national or international charities, programs or organisations will also not be considered as the current focus is on contributing to the local community.
